How to Log into the Learning Hub
There are many different ways you can log into the Learning Hub.
Central login/BCIT Dashboard
Login to the Central login for BCIT: https://id.bcit.ca/
Log in with your BCIT primary email address and password.
- For students, use your @my.bcit.ca email address.
eg. studentname@my.bcit.ca - For faculty and staff, this is the @bcit.ca email listed in the BCIT contacts directory.
From the dashboard select the Learning Hub:

Use the direct link https://learn.bcit.ca
Log in with your BCIT primary email address and password.
- For students, use your @my.bcit.ca email address.

If you forgot your BCIT email address or your password, select the appropriate links
** The link will automatically default to https://id.bcit.ca/my.policy
Shortcut from the BCIT homepage
Visit www.bcit.ca
Located in the top right area of your screen, select Learning Hub > Log in with your BCIT primary email address and password.

From myBCIT
Log into myBCIT and select the myCourses. Click on the House icon beside any course to enter the home page of the Learning Hub.
Select the dropdown option to search for a different term.
Once logged in, scroll down to the section called My Courses. This area lists all the courses that you can access.
Category tabs
All – displays all categories of courses with a link at the bottom to any remaining courses that are not visible
Pinned – “favourite” courses. To learn more click here
Term – displays courses by term that you are enrolled in (example 202410)
Ongoing – displays courses that can be started at any time and do not have a fixed end date (example – a Sandbox)
In Development – displays courses you are developing
To get into your course, click Course Title.
OR, click on the ‘waffle’ icon at the top of the home page and search for your courses
** Depending on your role within a course, not all categories will be displayed
Preferred Browsers
Chrome or Firefox are the preferred browsers
As a new student you will get access to the Learning Hub up to 4 weeks before the start date of your first course.
Registrations to a course that has already started will need up to 12 hours to process.
You will be able to access and open your course on the start date that is listed below your course in the Learning Hub ‘My Courses’ widget/section.
